Artists’ Books workshop at Marlo
The Wilderness Coast Artists & East Gippsland Art Gallery will present an artists’ books workshop with Margaret Mason at The Boatshed, Foreshore Road, Marlo 9.30am – 3.30pm on Tuesday 9 December 2008. Cost $30. BYO lunch.

Artists’ books are not books about art or artists. They are artworks made by artists that may be thought of as a ‘book’ – some artists’ books do embrace the narrative, spine, covers and binding of a conventional book BUT there are others that have absolutely no resemblance to what is generally accepted as a traditional ‘book’ and use materials ranging from metal to paper, perspex, stone, clay and glass.
