The Documentarian
'When I make a short documentary, I believe the art is in the choices made to communicate someone else's story with authenticity. In this explorative piece, I turned the camera on myself to try and examine the type of connection a story and its teller forms. I wanted to know how it feels to give away your most personal stories to be edited freely by someone else.

I guess it is a sort of self portrait that questions our roles as both documenter and documented, inviting you to leave with a deeper appreciation for the interaction between personal stories and their narrators.' Ashley Ball 2023
