Texture, Shape, Form & Thread

Participants will get their hands dirty while exploring art elements such as texture, shape and form to create sculptural air-dry clay artworks.

 

Inspired by various foundational processes used by the East Gippsland Ceramic Group, participants will be guided through modelling and sgraffito techniques to produce numerous textures and patterns. Participants will experiment with creating holes and threading cord into their creations as inspired by our current exhibition, Vive La Difference. We invite participants to be as creative and as imaginative as possible!
