East Gippsland Art Gallery is principally funded by East Gippsland Shire Council and supported by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria. A large portion of operational funds are sourced through artwork and shop sales, gallery hire, participation fees, memberships, fundraising and donations.

 

East Gippsland Art Gallery is a registered charity and endorsed as Deductible Gift Recipient, Items 1 and 4 of the Table in Section 30-15 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997. All donations over $2 are tax-deductible.

There are five ways you can help

• Renew your annual membership of East Gippsland Art Gallery - benefits include, standing invitation to all exhibition openings and special events, members only newsletter, printed copy of events calendar, NGV members reciprocal rights including discount tickets, shops and cafes, and priority queuing.

• Sign up as a Gallery Volunteer, meet art lovers like yourself and assist with installing and de-installing exhibitions, serving food and drink at openings, sitting the Gallery on Saturdays, light administration and maintenance work

• Share your skills and expertise in governance, lobbying, marketing, finance, strategic direction and legal knowledge and compliance and express your interest by joining the Board of Management, tenure is 24 months.
