The people that are often least heard are sometimes the ones with the most to say. So let your voice be heard! Use this book as a platform, use each blank page to communicate. To write, draw, paint, print, collage, stitch, cut, print, use as a journal, write poetry, lyrics to songs, write fiction, memoirs, recipes, add photographs… anything really.
The act of creating and storytelling is simple but powerful and this book is an opportunity to do just that. This book could reflect your past, your present, your future, a far-off place, everyday life, a moment in time… It’s up to you!
East Gippsland Art Gallery is creating a real and online library of books created by people from across Gippsland. An archive for people to view, both now and into the future. It is your voice that can inform this story collection. It’s up to you to choose to share your book, proudly put your name to it, or stay anonymous!
