VCE Studio Art Unit 4 Art and Industry Contexts

 

The video and PDF resource relates directly to our current exhibitions, Owen Piggott, White Light and Leigh Hobbs, Mr Chicken Comes to Bairnsdale until 31 July 2020. Though schools are currently unable to arrange excursions to the gallery, we are now open to the public Tuesday to Friday 10am-4pm.

The video takes you on a virtual tour of the two exhibitions including narration to give a deeper understanding of the artwork.

• methods and intentions of a public gallery

• curatorial considerations and conservation of artworks

• methods used such as lighting, temperature, storage and transportation of artworks
